Housework @ Chapterhouse!

Continuing the tradition of Chapter & Verse poetry readings at Chapterhouse is HOUSEWORK
This Saturday, November 14th we’ll be having a reading at 8pm with Jim Cory, Michael Cavuto and Fan Wu. Fan is a wonderful poet and translator and is taking the long bus ride down from Toronto. Hope to see you there!
• Jim Cory’s most recent publication is No Brainer Variations, (2011, Rain Mountain Press, NYC). He has been the editor of several important poetry selections (Packing Up for Paradise, selected poems of James Broughton, Black Sparrow, and Jubilant Thicket, selected poems of Jonathan Williams, Copper Canyon). Poems have appeared recently in Apiary, Bedfellows, Capsule, Painted Bride Quarterly, Skidrow Penthouse, and Whirlwind.  He has had fellowships, at one time or another, from the Pennsylvania Arts Council, Yaddo and The MacDowell Colony.
• Michael Cavuto currently lives in Philadelphia, after three years in Toronto. Along with Fan Wu, he edited the Trinity Review and ran a Toronto reading series. With Dale Smith and Hoa Nguyen, he edits the Slow Poetry in America newsletter.
• Fan Wu is a haggard flux, a ragged baboon caught in a meteor storm, a cipher of himself. He spent this past summer approaching ‘straight’ DJs and, with a flick of the wrist and a kiss on the mouth, making them temporarily bicurious–hence his new nickname, DJ DJ Intimidator. In May of 2016, he will be publishing his first chapbook, a collection of translations very tentatively entitled “Hoarfrost & Riverbend”.

Starts @ 8pm! More info?
